SEOUL – April 25, 2007 – Electronic commerce and payments leader First Data International has appointed Tae Sung Kim as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its business in South Korea. In this role, Mr. Kim will lead operations across South Korea, reporting directly to Nigel Lee, President, First Data International, Asia.

Mr. Kim's extensive background spans 28 years with several multinational commercial banks based in South Korea where he focused on marketing and business development. Previously he served as Managing Director and head of Financial Institution Global Cash and Trade Management for Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust Co. and at American Express Bank as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Financial Institution Cash Management.

Tae Sung Kim has a Master of Business Administration degree from Korea University and a Bachelor of Art in Business Administration from Kunkuk University.
